| This sport definitely keeps me motivated throughout
the year! The people in this sport are amazing athletes, coaches,
volunteers, competitors, and friends. My favorite part of this sport
is spending time with family and friends on the water - Lake Minnetonka,
Mississippi River, East Silent Lake, Lake Powell, Canyon Lake, Wailua
River or wherever. |

What got you hooked/interested in foiling? A dare
from my husband. You have to understand that as a boat driver sometimes
it's not as fun to drive a swivel skier all day long at 15 mph.
So he tried to get me on his hydrofoil and I was hooked. Sorry Betty
Bonifay! |
Why Join USHA? Why not? If you like hydrofoil or
other watersports, support the passion and support the sport. More
members means more grants and support to do ...more! It would be
great to see 100s of younger riders competing at a local hydrofoil
cable park or just hanging out with their favorite pro rider at
the next Pro Tour or X Games event. |
